Dave McGonigal , I was born in 1946 in the North of England. I lived in South Africa from 1981 to 1983, and then returned to England until 1991 when I moved to Vancouver BC. I served a 5 year Engineering Apprenticeship, specializing in welding.

I started shooting when I was 21 and 14 years later I became a professional Gunsmith in 1981. In 1991, I started the company Cape Custom Guns with my long time friend Gordon Adams. I have been supporting the sports shooting community for the last 17 years.

Gordon Adams , 54 years old, I got my gunsmithing experience from the Canadian Military as a youth and serving in the U.S. Navy for many years. As well as working with David McGonigal on and off since 1992 at Cape Custom Guns.

My main experience was in shotguns and assault weapons and maintaining handguns for the military. I learned to build custom competition firearms working with David McGonigal. I started shooting IPSC in 1980 in Squamish British Columbia and have been shooting on & off since then. I am currently shooting in "A" class Standard Division.
